Wave goodbye

Listening to a load of old bands/songs. QOTSA and Buckley first. Ah, the memories. Just 'cos I changed genre, I forgot a load of old bands. It doesn't make sense. Should never have walked away. Ah well, there's plenty of time to listen to them all again. And keep listening them, of course.

I made this blog public. Now Pogo's read it. Meh. I don't even mind if she sees the band list (which has now been updated). Nothing to be ashamed of. Music taste's music taste. If you can call it taste!

Listening to....LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING BY THE JOE PERRY PROJECT

Call your DR. ROCK

Downloading some songs off of PMB's myspace. Never heard him sing on a mixed recording before - only demos and live recordings - so this should be interesting. I don't know the name of the band yet though. I shall have to find out.

I'm going to start typing up my fanfiction soon. It's nowhere near finished yet, but I need something to do besides stealing .mp3s from myspace and .flvs from youtube. I need to get back on track. I can't rem'ber the last time I added anything to it. Maybe 'cos the song it's based on ain't my favourite favourite any more. Meh. Somebody shoot me, please.

Honouring my favourite bands?

  • In my art project (for GCSE) I'm drawing sorta graffiti cartoon characters, so I've based many on people in the bands I listen to.
  • I quote many people, willingly or unwillingly, I don't know.
  • My website's layout have been graced by many glam rockers/metallers.
  • My nickname is Ratt (I wonder who that's appreciating?).
  • I did my sister's hair up like Stephen Pearcy's (circa '85), just 'cos we were bored.
  • I'm writing a fan fic based on the song "I Still Love You" by Tracii Guns.

    Motley Crue Appreciation/ honours:
  • Well, for Hallowe'en I dressed as Tommy Lee (circa '84)...Which was sorta fun.
  • I bought 7 Motley vinyls, even though I don't own a record player..
  • I bought some pink leopard print pants and a white scarf, to sorta copy off of Vinnie in the video for 'Smoking in the Boy's Room' (sorta copying, as I'd never wear pants that are half see-through - I haven't got enough confidence...:D ).

EDIT: New band are a load of boring shit. Truly didn't expect anything more.

  • Updated Band List
